CAO's Cult Amazon Basin Gets an Extra Year of Sleep

One of the most talked-about blends of the past decade is back in rested form. CAO's Amazon Basin Extra Anejo returns October 1, rolled in 2024 at STG's Esteli factory and aged roughly two years before release. It keeps the original Amazon Basin recipe: Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, Nicaraguan binder, and that unmistakable Brazilian Braganca filler at its core, backed by Dominican and Colombian leaf. A single 6 x 52 toro in 18-count boxes at $15.89, up ninety cents from the first Extra Anejo run in 2023. That is the third Amazon Basin release this year alone, after the January original and June's Daggers. The brand's jungle-cult following rarely needs convincing, and an extra year of age at under sixteen dollars makes this an easy October buy.
