Cavalier Geneve Opens U.S. Warehouse in Texas

Cavalier Geneve has opened a warehouse and distribution center in Stafford, Texas, just outside Houston, to handle U.S. retailer orders directly. Until now the Swiss-founded company shipped most cigars from its own facility in Danli, Honduras, straight to retailers via UPS, an unusual fulfillment model. The Houston location gives Cavalier a central logistics base near an international airport and port, and signals that the company is scaling up its U.S. infrastructure to match growing distribution. Founder Sebastien Decoppet says the project began late last year and is meant to raise service standards for American accounts. For a boutique brand, owning a stateside warehouse is a clear step toward acting like a larger manufacturer.
