Crowned Heads Skips Las Calaveras, Goes Back to the Decimo Well
There will be no annual Las Calaveras release this year, but Crowned Heads is not leaving the holiday shelf empty.

There will be no annual Las Calaveras release this year, but Crowned Heads is not leaving the holiday shelf empty. Instead, the company is expanding its Decimo Aniversario blend - the one that marked Las Calaveras' tenth birthday in 2024 - into a full three-size line called Decimo 2026. The recipe is unchanged: an Ecuadorian Habano oscuro wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and fillers drawn from the Garcia family's farms, rolled at My Father Cigars S.A. What is new is choice, with a 6 x 50 D50 at $15.95, a 5 x 52 D52 at $14.95, and a 5 5/8 x 54 D54 at $16.95, all in ten-count boxes. Production is capped at 75,000 cigars, and the boxes get a fresh green look. Shipping began October 30, deliberately timed to land ahead of Dia de los Muertos. After a one-year pause, the brand is betting fans of the anniversary blend would rather have more sizes of it than a new recipe entirely.
