Drew Estate's Liga Privada Unico Serie Year of the Rat is back for 2026, and once again it is reserved for Drew Diplomat retailers. The cigar started in 2016 as a lounge exclusive tied to the Florida Panthers hockey franchise and the anniversary of Scott Mellanby's famous 'Rat Trick.' It later became an event-only release, then a Diplomat-only annual. The 2026 version is a 5 1/2 x 46 Corona Gorda wrapped in Connecticut Broadleaf with a Brazilian binder and Nicaraguan-Honduran filler, packaged in ten-count boxes. Retailers are listing it around $21 per cigar. Exclusivity mechanics like this are designed to drive foot traffic to participating shops, and Year of the Rat has become one of Drew Estate's most recognizable loyalty-tier releases.
