Escobar Cigars has begun shipping Nasty Esco, the first release in its Light-Years Collection and the first regular-production cigar developed since Nasir 'Nas' Jones became a co-owner in 2021. The 5 x 52 robusto uses an Ecuadorian habano wrapper, Sumatra binder, and Dominican and Nicaraguan fillers, rolled at PDR Cigars in the Dominican Republic. It is priced at $9 per cigar or $180 per box of 20. The name pulls from Nas's early 'Nasty Nas' persona and the Escobar alias he adopted in the mid-1990s, and the line is designed to mirror the arc of his albums. For a celebrity-backed cigar, the price point is unusually approachable, and the national rollout gives the brand its widest distribution yet.
