Espinosa's Laranja Line Gets a Hybrid Sibling

Espinosa Cigars has begun shipping the Laranja Hybrid, the fourth installment in a series that has made Brazilian tobacco its calling card. The Hybrid pairs an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper with a Nicaraguan binder and a filler of Nicaraguan and Brazilian leaf, offered in two box-pressed sizes: a 6 x 48 Short Churchill and a 6 x 52 Toro. Pricing is set at $11.50 and $12.00 respectively, with both presented in ten-count boxes. Unlike the limited releases that dominate the late-summer calendar, the Hybrid is regular production, which means Espinosa is betting the blend has long-term shelf appeal rather than one-and-done scarcity. The Laranja series has always been a value play with enough wrapper character to stand out; adding a darker oscuro face to the family gives smokers another reason to revisit the line without abandoning its budget-friendly identity.
