Gellis Family Cigars Drips Out the Heritage No. 50 in Batches

Kyle Gellis's post-Warped project is taking a slow approach to its newest line. Heritage No. 50, unveiled at PCA 2026 alongside the Piece Unique annual limited and a core Essentials line, sits between limited edition and regular production: a 5 x 50 robusto with Mexican San Andres wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler, made at Nicaragua American Cigars S.A. and priced at $15. Rather than flooding the market, the company is releasing it in batches - the first, which arrived in July, was capped at 6,000 cigars, with more waves promised. The batch model is quietly becoming the boutique answer to LE frenzy economics: it manufactures scarcity and sell-through without the flipper circus of a one-off, and lets a young brand tune production to real demand. Given Gellis's track record on flavor-first Nicaraguan blends, expect these boxes to move faster than the modest first batch suggests.
