Atlantic Cigar Turns 30 With an Exclusive HVC Short Churchill

Atlantic Cigar Co. is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a retailer-exclusive size of HVC's Hot Cake Fresh Out of the Oven Broadleaf. The new vitola is a box-pressed 6 1/2 x 48 short Churchill, shorter and thinner than the regular corona gigante, using the same Connecticut broadleaf wrapper over Esteli and Jalapa filler that has made the line a community favorite. Reinier Lorenzo made 1,000 ten-count boxes, or 10,000 cigars, priced at $12.75 per cigar and $127.50 per box. Retailer exclusives built around proven lines tend to move fast, especially when they arrive with a meaningful anniversary story. This one also sets up the broader Gladiators vitola that HVC has teased for national release, so the Hot Cake Broadleaf family is having a busy late summer.
