HVC Extends Its Hottest Line with a Broadleaf Perfecto

Reinier Lorenzo keeps feeding his best-selling franchise. HVC's Hot Cake Fresh Out of the Oven Broadleaf line gains the Gladiators, a 6 1/2 x 56 perfecto wrapped in Connecticut broadleaf over a Nicaraguan core, now arriving at retailers. The production run is 500 boxes of 25, or 12,500 cigars total, which keeps the format in true limited territory without being unobtainable. The Hot Cake line has been one of HVC's most consistent performers since its debut, and the broadleaf extension has given it a second life among smokers who favor darker, sweeter wrapper profiles. The perfecto shape concentrates the broadleaf's character at the head and loosens as it burns, a format choice that flatters exactly this kind of wrapper. Worth an early look before the box counts thin out.
