La Aroma de Cuba Quietly Expands a Limited Line Through a Sampler

Ashton has released an El Jefe Sampler priced at $49.99 that does something more interesting than bundle existing cigars: it introduces the La Aroma de Cuba Habano Reserve in the El Jefe size -- a 7 x 58 format the line has never been made in before. The Habano Reserve, built on an Ecuadorian Habano Rosado wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler at the My Father Cigars factory in Esteli, has until now existed only as a 6 x 52 Monarch. The sampler also includes four other La Aroma vitolas. The Habano Reserve El Jefe will be available as a standalone 24-count box release this fall. The sampler-first approach is a repeatable tactic: test a new size with limited exposure, generate demand at the shop counter, then convert to a full SKU.
