The space includes a walk-in humidor, bar, private event room, and outdoor balcony overlooking the Cibao Valley mountains. For a 122-year-old manufacturer, owning a flagship hospitality venue in its home city is a small but meaningful shift. It gives La Aurora a direct consumer touchpoint, supports tourism, and reinforces its rum and coffee brands alongside the cigars. Factory-owned lounges remain rare in the Dominican Republic, so the move could become a template for other heritage producers looking to capture more margin from destination smokers.
