Cuba's Anniversary Machines Roll Into Switzerland

Two of Habanos' biggest commemorative projects finally get retail dates, and both land in Switzerland first. The La Gloria Cubana 35 Aniversario humidor, originally shown at the 2025 Festival del Habano, goes on sale October 6 at the country's ten La Casa del Habano stores: a 7 1/10 x 47 double figurado in a new Rodolfo vitola, 35 cigars per humidor, limited to 750 units at CHF 3,850. Arriving the same day is the Romeo y Julieta Amantes, marking the brand's 150th anniversary in a 6 x 53 format packaged in 20-count boxes at CHF 1,288, with Habanos Specialists following on October 13. Switzerland keeps punching above its weight as the European launchpad for Cuban ultra-premium, and the stacked October 6 date suggests Habanos is timing its fall halo releases with intent.
