Perez-Carrillo Goes to Sea With a New Limited Edition

Casa Carrillo's ocean-themed limited for 2026 has been shipping since mid-May. The Perez-Carrillo Deep Blue is a 6 x 56 toro extra -- one vitola, one blend -- using a Jalapa, Nicaragua wrapper over a Honduran binder and Nicaraguan fillers. The sizing and the blend position it firmly in the higher-end tier of the Perez-Carrillo portfolio, at $22 per stick across 2,500 numbered boxes of 20. The cigar soft-launched at Smoke Inn's The Great Smoke in March, which gave the trade a few months of preview before general retail. Casa Carrillo has been methodical about limited edition releases, and the 2,500-box ceiling keeps Deep Blue tight enough to generate genuine scarcity without the raffle-and-speculation circus that plagues some boutique drops. At 50,000 sticks total it is collectible, not unobtainable.
