Powstanie has shipped the SBC 26, the latest limited release in its Small Batch Collection. The cigar is a 5.5 x 46 barber-pole wrapped in Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed and Mexican San Andres, with a Brazilian Mata Fina binder and filler combining Dominican Piloto Mejorado ligero with Nicaraguan leaf from Condega, Esteli, and Pueblo Nuevo. Production is capped at 500 twenty-count boxes, priced at $18 per cigar or $360 per box. Co-founder Gregg Szczepankiewicz developed the blend as a passion project at Fabrica de Tabacos NicaSueno, and the brand issued a public challenge for reviewers to score it above 81. The limited footprint and factory pedigree should make it an immediate chase item for the boutique set.
