The Villiger de Nicaragua Edicion Limitada series, an annual release the company has fielded every year since 2022, goes out with its fourth installment today as it hits shelves in Germany and Switzerland. The 2026 edition is a 6 x 60 gordo built around an Ecuadorian Sumatra-seed wrapper over Mexican San Andres binder, with filler from Condega and Jalapa plus Pennsylvania broadleaf, rolled at Villiger's own Esteli factory and priced at $20. Production is capped at 2,000 boxes worldwide, and the U.S. gets its allocation in December. Final installments in a multi-year annual series tend to pull completionists who need the full set, so expect these to move faster than a routine limited release even at the gordo format.
