Most cigar brands hold anniversary cigars for the decade marks. Room101 treats every birthday as worth celebrating. The Room101 17th Anniversary continues the pattern: a new blend, a new collaborator, and another limited run timed to the brand's August birthday.

The cigar is a Nicaraguan puro rolled at AJ Fernandez's factory. Booth described the profile as starting with pepper and spice before moving into dark chocolate, roasted espresso, and earth. It lands in a single 6 x 52 Toro vitola, packaged in 20-count boxes, with a suggested retail price of $15.89 per cigar.

The project pairs two of the industry's more recognizable personalities. Booth built Room101 as a design-forward, California-raised brand with a rotating cast of manufacturing partners. AJ Fernandez has become one of Nicaragua's most in-demand cigar makers over the past two decades, producing lines for his own portfolio and for major manufacturers. The combination gives General Cigar's distribution muscle a boutique-style release with a clear story.

What distinguishes Room101's anniversary program is that none of the cigars are repeats. 'Every Anniversary cigar is a snapshot of where we are at that moment,' Booth said in the company announcement. 'They aren't meant to repeat themselves because neither do we.' That approach keeps collectors chasing the series while making each release self-contained.

Shipping is scheduled to begin in August 2026. Given the limited-edition positioning and the $15.89 price point, the cigar sits in the premium tier without crossing into ultra-premium territory, a spot where Room101 has historically moved volume quickly.
