Undercrown 10 Gordo: The 60-Ring Anniversary Cigar Drew Estate Will Not Keep
Drew Estate is shipping a 6 x 60 limited edition under its Undercrown 10 banner. The blend stays the same, but the numbers say this one is deliberately scarce.

The Undercrown 10 line has been Drew Estate's way of marking a decade since the original Undercrown turned the company's factory culture into a brand. The anniversary blend wears a Mexican San Andres wrapper over a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and Nicaraguan and Honduran fillers, a combination that has carried the line since 2021. Now the line is getting a new size, and the size is the entire story.
A 6 x 60 Gordo is not subtle. It is a statement vitola, the kind of cigar that sits at the front of a humidor and announces itself before the cellophane comes off. Drew Estate has priced it at $16.80, slightly above the core Undercrown 10 vitolas, which puts it in the collector-impulse zone rather than the everyday-smoke zone. That pricing, plus the limited run, signals that this is a seasonal trophy rather than a permanent addition.
What makes the release unusual is the cap. Drew Estate limited production to 3,000 ten-count boxes, or 30,000 cigars total. For a brand that normally moves at warehouse scale, that is a small footprint. The decision keeps the Gordo from becoming just another SKU and gives retailers a reason to talk about Undercrown 10 again without flooding the market.
The timing is textbook late-summer retail strategy. Big-ring limited editions land in August and September because they photograph well, gift well, and give smokers something to chase before the holiday humidor restocking begins. Whether the Gordo becomes a quick sellout or a slow burn will depend less on the blend, which smokers already know, and more on how tightly Drew Estate controls allocation. Scarcity is the flavor note here.
